My name is Katarina and I’m an interior designer based in Helsinki Finland. My field of work is designing commercial office spaces, hospitality and residential spaces, and also creating architectural visualizations for marketing purposes.

I discovered my passion for design while working in the building construction area. I wanted to persuade my dream to become an interior designer so I decided to move to Italy where I obtained my master's degree.

My other passion in biology brought me into realising how our environment influences our mind and body. How colours, materials, lighting, smells, sounds, etc., all have crucial aspects on how we feel and so on our productivity.

Incorporating biophilic design into interiors to encourage the connection between humans and nature has been found to support cognitive function, physical health, and psychological well-being. That’s why my approach to designing spaces is a combination between aesthetics and well-being, creating a healthy environment for people.
